Synopsis :

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security-related patch.

Description :

It was discovered that network-manager-applet incorrectly checked
permissions when connecting to certain wireless networks. A local
attacker could use this issue at the login screen to access local
files.

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding

has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible
without introducing additional issues.

Solution :

Update the affected network-manager-gnome package.
