Synopsis :

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security-related patch.

Description :

It was discovered that Exuberant Ctags incorrectly handled certain
minified js files. An attacker could use this issue to possibly cause
Exuberant Ctags to consume resources, resulting in a denial of
service.

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding

has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible
without introducing additional issues.

Solution :

Update the affected exuberant-ctags package.
