Synopsis :

The remote Ubuntu host is missing one or more security-related
patches.

Description :

Tyson Smith and Jesse Schwartzentruber discovered that NSS contained a
race condition when performing certificate validation. An attacker
could use this issue to cause NSS to crash, resulting in a denial of
service, or possibly execute arbitrary code.

without introducing additional issues.

Solution :

Update the affected libnss3 and / or libnss3-1d packages.
