Synopsis :

The remote Ubuntu host is missing one or more security-related
patches.

Description :

It was discovered that Lua incorrectly handled certain vararg
functions with a large number of fixed parameters. An attacker could
use this issue to cause Lua applications to crash, resulting in a
denial of service, or possibly execute arbitrary code.

has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible
without introducing additional issues.

Solution :

Update the affected liblua5.1-0 and / or lua5.1 packages.
