The remote backup service is affected by a denial of service vulnerability.

Description

The version of IBM Tivoli Storage Manager installed on the remote host is 6.3.x prior to 6.3.4.0. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability that could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via specially crafted values in the TLS Record Layer.

Solution

Upgrade to IBM Tivoli Storage Manager 6.3.4.0 or later, disable SSL, or use a stream cipher such as RC4.
