Synopsis

The remote host has a web application that is affected by a remote code execution vulnerability.

Description

According to the self-reported version of the NetIQ Privileged User Manager 'ldapagnt' package installed on the remote host, the server contains a flaw that is triggered when an error occurs in the 'ldapagnt_eval()' function when parsing requests. An unauthenticated attacker could exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges.

Note that Nessus did not check for the presence of a workaround.

Solution

Apply NetIQ Privileged User Manager 2.3.1 HF2 (2.3.1-2) or later.
