Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security-related patch.

Description

Tomas Hoger discovered that the CUPS image library incorrectly handled LZW streams. A remote attacker could use this flaw to cause a denial of service or possibly execute arbitrary code.

Solution

Update the affected libcupsimage2 package.
