Synopsis
The remote web server is affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability.Description
According to its self-reported version number, the instance of Apache Tomcat 7.x listening on the remote host is prior to 7.0.6. It is, therefore, affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability in its HTML Manager interface. A remote attacker can exploit this to inject code into a user's browser via a crafted URL.Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
Solution
Update Apache Tomcat to version 7.0.6 or later.See Also
