The remote name server is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

According to its self-reported version, the instance of ISC BIND 9 running on the remote name server is 9.9.x prior to 9.9.11-S2 or 9.9.11-P1, 9.10.x prior to 9.10.6-S2 or 9.10.6-P1, or 9.11.x prior to 9.11.2-P1. It is, therefore, affected by a remote denial of service vulnerability.

Solution

Upgrade to ISC BIND version 9.9.11-P1 / 9.9.11-S2 / 9.10.6-P1 / 9.10.6-S2 / 9.11.2-P1 / 9.12.0rc2 or later.
