Synopsis :

The remote EulerOS host is missing a security update.

Description :

According to the version of the samba packages installed, the EulerOS
installation on the remote host is affected by the following
vulnerability :

- A flaw was found in the way Samba handled dangling
symlinks. An authenticated malicious Samba client could
use this flaw to cause the smbd daemon to enter an
infinite loop and use an excessive amount of CPU and
memory. (CVE-2017-9461)

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding
description block directly from the EulerOS security advisory. Tenable
has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible
without introducing additional issues.
