Synopsis :

The remote Ubuntu host is missing one or more security-related
patches.

Description :

It was discovered that libmwaw incorrectly handled certain malformed
document files. If a user or automated system were tricked into
opening a specially crafted file, a remote attacker could cause
libmwaw to crash, resulting in a denial of service, or possibly
execute arbitrary code.

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding

has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible
without introducing additional issues.

Solution :

Update the affected libmwaw-0.1-1 and / or libmwaw-0.3-3 packages.
