Tenable Network Security CSO, Marcus J. Ranum, will be presenting in person at the MICE Information Security Conference in Doha, Qatar.
Ranum will deliver a talk entitled "Critical Infrastructure Protection: the relationship between terror, cybercrime, and espionage" at the event. During this presentation, Ranum will analyze the motivational differences between state-sponsored 'cyberwar' and the criminal activity that any internet-connected organization has to deal with. Important to our understanding of 'cyberwar' is the effectiveness of government-led defensive efforts versus the role of the private sector.
