5.1 Turn on inetd tracing, Check if 'ENABLE_CONNECTION_LOGGING' is set to YES in /etc/default/inetd.

Information

If inetd is running, it is a good idea to make use of the 'tracing' (-t) feature of the Solaris inetd that logs information about the source of any network connections seen by the daemon. This information is logged via syslog and by default Solaris systems deposit this logging information in /var/adm/messages with other system log messages.
