Synopsis

The remote web server is affected by a null pointer dereference.

Description

Apache HTTP Server 2.4.6 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the 'mod_cache' module, which can be used to induce a crash in a cache forwarding proxy configuration. This is fixed with the release of version 2.4.7.

Solution

Upgrade to Apache HTTP Server 2.4.7, or later.
