Nessus 2.2.8 has been released today. This version fixes the following problems:
- nessusd crashing in the middle of a scan due to a one byte memory overwrite issue
- plugins of type ACT_INIT and ACT_SETTINGS would not always be enabled
- nasl using huge amounts of memory when executing a script misusing the 'split()' function
This version also contains an updated set of plugins from Tenable Network Security, Inc.
