Solution

All Redis 3.0.x users should upgrade to the latest version:
# emerge --sync # emerge --ask --oneshot --verbose '>=dev-db/redis-3.0.7' All Redis 3.2.x users should upgrade to the latest version:
# emerge --sync # emerge --ask --oneshot --verbose '>=dev-db/redis-3.2.5'
