Mac OS X : OS X Server < 3.1.2 Heap-Based Buffer Overflow

This script is Copyright (C) 2014 Tenable Network Security, Inc.

Synopsis :

The remote host is missing a security update for OS X Server.

Description :

The remote Mac OS X 10.9 host has a version of OS X Server that is
older than 3.1.2. It is, therefore, reportedly affected by a
heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability.

The flaw exits with the included Ruby where user input is not properly
validated when converting a float point value. A remote attacker, with
a specially crafted string, may cause a denial of service or execute
arbitrary code.
