Synopsis

The remote host contains a web browser that is affected by multiple spoofing vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of Opera installed on the remote host is a version prior to version 21. It is, therefore, reportedly affected by multiple address bar spoofing vulnerabilities :

- Several errors exist related to downloads, download pop-up dialogs, and the address bar that could allow URLs to be displayed incorrectly, leading to spoofing possibilities. (DNA-17861, DNA-18354)

- An error exists related to address bar displays, data URIs and opening downloads in new tabs that could allow URLs to be displayed incorrectly, leading to spoofing possibilities. (DNA-19280)

Solution

Upgrade to Opera 21 or later.
