Drupal 7.x < 7.27 Forms API Information Disclosure

medium Nessus Plugin ID 73635

Synopsis

The remote web server is running a PHP application that is affected by an information disclosure vulnerability.

Description

The remote web server is running a version of Drupal that is 7.x prior to 7.27. It is, therefore, affected by an error related to the HTML form API and the caching of pages for different anonymous users, which could allow sensitive information to be disclosed. Note that Drupal core does not expose any such HTML forms by default.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to version 7.27 or later.
