Synopsis

The remote Windows host has web portal software installed that is affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability.

Description

The version of WebSphere Portal on the remote host is affected by a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this to execute arbitrary script code in the context of a user's browser.

Solution

IBM has published a cumulative fix for WebSphere Portal 8.0.0.1 (CF08). Refer to IBM's advisory for more information.
