Synopsis :

The remote host is affected by an Active Directory denial of service
vulnerability.

Description :

The remote host is affected by a denial of service vulnerability in
Active Directory Services and Active Directory Lightweight Directory
Services (AD LDS).

By sending a specially crafted query to the Lightweight Directory
Access Protocol (LDAP) service, an attacker can cause the directory
service to stop responding until an administrator restarts the
service.

Microsoft has released a set of patches for Windows Vista, 2008, 7,
2008 R2, 8, and 2012.
