Synopsis

Description

According to its version number, the Movable Type install hosted on the remote web server is affected by an unspecified flaw when the 'comment_state()' function is processed by the 'unserialize()' function. This flaw is due to an issue with the Perl 'Storable::thaw()' function, which is considered unsafe to use on untrusted input.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to version 5.2.6 or later.
