Synopsis :

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security-related patch.

Description :

It was discovered that gpsd incorrectly handled certain malformed GPS
data. An attacker could use this issue to cause gpsd to crash,
resulting in a denial of service, or possibly execute arbitrary code.

Solution :

Update the affected gpsd package.
