Synopsis :

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security-related patch.

Description :

Zbigniew Tenerowicz and Sebastian Krzyszkowiak discovered that
pam-xdg-support incorrectly handled the PATH environment variable. A
local attacker could use this issue in combination with sudo to
possibly escalate privileges.

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding

has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible
without introducing additional issues.

Solution :

Update the affected libpam-xdg-support package.
