Synopsis :

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security-related patch.

Description :

It was discovered that PHP incorrectly handled the openssl_encrypt
function when used with an empty string. An attacker could use this
flaw to cause PHP to disclose arbitrary memory contents and possibly
expose sensitive information.

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding

has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible
without introducing additional issues.

Solution :

Update the affected php5 package.
