Synopsis :

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security-related patch.

Description :

Tomas Hoger discovered that the CUPS image library incorrectly handled
LZW streams. A remote attacker could use this flaw to cause a denial
of service or possibly execute arbitrary code.

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding

has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible
without introducing additional issues.

Solution :

Update the affected libcupsimage2 package.
