medium Nessus Plugin ID 55753

Synopsis

The remote Fedora host is missing a security update.

Description

- fixed possible privilege escalation flaw via use of python pickle (CVE-2011-2520), replaced pickle by json (rhbz#717985) and (rhbz#722991)

- stop D-BUS firewall mechanism on update, because D-BUS interface will not be compatible to old pickle version

- system-config-printer needs to get updated, too

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Fedora security advisory. Tenable has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible without introducing additional issues.
