Synopsis :

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security-related patch.

Description :

Rafael Dominguez Vega discovered that PCSC-Lite incorrectly handled
smart cards with malformed ATR messages. An attacker having physical
access could exploit this with a special smart card and cause a denial
of service or execute arbitrary code.

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding

has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible
without introducing additional issues.

Solution :

Update the affected libpcsclite1 package.
