Ubuntu Security Notice (C) 2009-2016 Canonical, Inc. / NASL script (C) 2009-2016 Tenable Network Security, Inc.

Synopsis :

The remote Ubuntu host is missing one or more security-related
patches.

Description :

Aaron Sigel discovered that the CUPS web interface incorrectly
protected against cross-site scripting (XSS) and cross-site request
forgery (CSRF) attacks. If an authenticated user were tricked into
visiting a malicious website while logged into CUPS, a remote attacker
could modify the CUPS configuration and possibly steal confidential
data.

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding
description block directly from the Ubuntu security advisory. Tenable
has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible
without introducing additional issues.

Solution :

Update the affected packages.
