Ubuntu Security Notice (C) 2009-2016 Canonical, Inc. / NASL script (C) 2009-2016 Tenable Network Security, Inc.

Synopsis :

The remote Ubuntu host is missing one or more security-related

Description :

It was discovered that OpenSSL did not properly validate the length of

If a user or automated system were tricked into processing a crafted
certificate, an attacker could cause a denial of service via
application crash in applications linked against OpenSSL.

description block directly from the Ubuntu security advisory. Tenable
has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible
without introducing additional issues.

Solution :

Update the affected packages.
