Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch.

Description

TMM may restart when processing a specially crafted request withAPM portal access. (CVE-2018-15324)

Impact

A remote attacker may be able to cause a traffic disruption or cause the BIG-IP system to fail over to a peer device in the device group if configured for high availability(HA).

Solution

Upgrade to one of the non-vulnerable versions listed in the F5 Solution K52206731.
